Path to Growth and Leadership

FrontStreet Facility Solutions, Inc. started as Empire Facilities Management Group in 2003. Joseph Scaretta and Moses Carrasco founded the company after working together at a small retail construction firm in New York. They thought they could do better... and they did.

Empire began as a small business focused on repair and maintenance for small box retail stores. As the company built their reputation, Empire added project work to their portfolio based strictly upon client needs. Their exponential growth and business success stemmed from listening to their clients’ pain points and being able to deliver innovative solutions. Joseph and Moses insisted on being available to travel and meet with clients directly at their locations in order to learn and understand the concept of their brand. With a true understanding of their clients’ needs, they were able to focus on process improvements that were cost-effective without sacrificing brand image. Building on a “Get It Done” business philosophy and doing whatever it took to serve clients, Empire quickly became an industry leader by delivering comprehensive facility build-outs, retrofits and maintenance services nationwide.

In 2012, FrontStreet Facility Solutions Inc., led by industry entrepreneur Kristen Bunnell, acquired Empire and A-OK Facilities Maintenance & Security Specialists Inc. With a vision to provide the highest quality infrastructure management solutions across multiple industry sectors and service disciplines, Kristen recruited experienced executives to join Joseph and Moses. She then formed FrontStreet Management Group, including sister company RiverRoad Waste Solutions Inc. FrontStreet Facility Solutions is the group’s primary national facility management operating subsidiary. FS Prevention, formerly A-OK, is the company's security and response specialists.

FrontStreet continues to innovate, delivering tangible brand solutions for multi-site facility clients in the retail, banking, restaurant, and commercial properties industries under the tagline Better Facility Sense™.

Whether in 2003 with only three employees or today with more than 120, FrontStreet remains committed to building upon what clients appreciate most—service excellence and dependability.
